Overview

MN Foreclosure Notices ("the Site") aggregates publicly available Minnesota foreclosure sale notices and presents them for browsing. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Public foreclosure notice data

The Site displays foreclosure sale notices published in public sources (for example, classified newspaper notices). That content is already public. We do not add private personal data beyond what appears in those notices. Property addresses, borrower names, lender names, and related fields shown on the Site come from those public filings.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

When advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Ads are only loaded when the Site operator has configured an AdSense client ID. If ads are not configured, no AdSense scripts or cookies are loaded by this Site for advertising.

Email alerts and payments (Stripe)

If you join the waitlist or subscribe to email alerts, we collect your email address and any optional filters you provide (such as county or keyword). We use that information to send digests and manage your subscription.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers; Stripe handles payment details under their privacy policy. We may store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers needed to activate, update, or cancel your alert subscription.

You can unsubscribe via the link in alert emails or by contacting us. Canceling a paid subscription is handled through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting us.

Analytics and logs

Our hosting providers (for example GitHub Pages and Cloudflare Workers) may automatically log standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security and reliability. We do not sell personal information.
